What is HIFU?
HIFU is the abbreviation of “High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound.”HIFU uses focused ultrasound waves to thermally heat the targeted skin tissue to around 65℃ non-invasively, which is the most suitable temperature for stimulating collagen production.
The numerous newly created “heat spots” stimulate old and weak collagen to be reorganized and strengthened by the growth of new collagen, which tightens and lifts the skin.
During the heating, no extra damage or disruption is caused to the surrounding skin tissue, and the transdermal energy can rupture the fat cells in places like the thighs, abdomen, buttocks, etc. to reduce cellulite.
More than Skin Deep, the Ultrasound Penetration
HIFU reaches the deep dermis and the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) layer, which brings long-lasting results for skin lifting.
Multi-line Cartridges for Face and Body
Smedtrum HIFU system ST-580 offers multi-line cartridges of different depths, which are for both face and body in various lengths, ensuring to meet patients’ demands.
Multi-line cartridges emit up to 10 lines in a single shot without requiring physicians’ hands to move frequently; therefore, it enhances the treatment quality and efficiency meanwhile taking less effort and time for a physician to complete a single treatment.
Flexible Treatment Area Settings
The treatment area can be easily set in the left part of the interface. The WIDTH and LENGTH control the covered area for treatment; and the PITCH adjusts the distance between each dot, which equals the adjustment of dot density.
The largest treatment area is 10mm*25 mm. The numbers of lines range from 1 to 10 lines, giving a versatile combination of treatments.
