What is IPL?
IPL is the abbreviation of Intense Pulsed Light. Unlike laser devices, IPL emits polychromatic, noncoherent, and noncollimated light whose wavelengths ranging from 420nm to 1,200 nm. IPL treatments are non-ablative, with no downtime, less side effects, and proved effective for the generation of new collagen. IPL applies the selective photothermolysis theory, which treats different dermal problems with lights of different wavelengths. By using different cutoff filters, treatments are performed more effectively and precisely.
